Reunion Agenda

November 8th - Wednesday - Check-in

Registration - 9am to noon & 1pm to 6pm

November 9th - Thursday

Registration - 8am to 9am & 6pm to 9pm

9:00am - start loading bus to Mt. Soledad

9:30am - bus leaves for Mt. Soledad for Camp Horno

11:15am - bus leaves for Camp Horno

12:30pm - Lunch at Chow Hall

2:00pm - Plaque dedication at Memorial site

We just received word that our plaque memorializing the 13 KIAs at the Kabul airports Abbey Gate encountered production problems. We will not have the plaque to dedicate at the Memorial Garden at Camp Horno, however, we will have a facsimile of the plaque on display so everyone will be able to see what it will look like once it is installed. 

3:00pm - approx. time return to hotel from Camp Horno

4:30pm - Arrive at hotel.

November 10th - Friday

Registration - 9am to noon & 6pm to 8pm

11:30am to 1:30pm - Ladies Luncheon

7:00pm - Marine Corps birthday celebration and cake cutting in the 

hospitality room.

November 11th - Saturday

Veterans Day celebration at Mt. Soledad

We are invited to attend the Veterans Day celebration at Mt. Soledad. 

This is a big deal in the San Diego area. Vietnam Veterans will be celebrated at the function. Mt. Soledad will reserve seating for us who attend. The ceremony is from 10am till noon, which will have us back at the hotel by 1pm. We will provide transportation to whomever wishes to attend the celebration. Please let us know if you want to attend when you register at the reunion.

November 12th - Sunday

Banquet Happy Hour - 5pm till 6pm

6:10pm - Presentation of the Colors, Cake Cutting, and introduction of the Guest Speaker and Honored Guests

6:45pm - 7:40 - Buffet Dinner

November 13th - Monday
